This is to bring to the notice of the public that Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is offering scholarships to high achieving high school seniors with monetary need to pursue undergraduate courses. This scholarship is available to USA nationals.

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is a private, self-governing foundation committed to enhancing the education of outstandingly talented students who have monetary need. The Foundation supports outstanding students from elementary school all the way through to graduate school through scholarships, grants, direct service, and knowledge conception and propagation.

Description of Scholarship

  • Scholarship Value: Up to $40,000 per annum to attend a four (4) year certified undergraduate school.

Countries Eligible: US nationals are eligible to apply for the scholarship


Applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the scholarship:

  • Senior standing – Plan to graduate from a U.S. high school in spring 2019.
  • Fall College Enrollment – be set to enroll in a recognized four-year college beginning in fall 2019.
  • GPA – Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • Test Scores – Receive a minimum SAT total of 1200 or ACT combination of 26.
  • Income – exhibit unmet monetary need. We will consider applicants with family earnings of up to $95,000. Last year’s cohort of new college scholarship recipients had a medium family income of roughly $26,000.

How to Apply: outstandingly talented high school seniors with monetary need can submit an application exclusively through The Common Application. All scholarship application requirements must be submitted on or before the closing date on November 20, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. in your local time zone.
