There’s been an update on the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships and it is our duty to bring you the update.

The Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships is for intending masters scholars at the University of Amsterdam.

 

Deadline: The deadline for the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships is 15 Jan/1 Feb 2020 (annual).

Study Location: The location for the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships is the Netherlands.
The Course starts in September 2020.

Brief description: The Amsterdam Excellence Scholarships (AES) awards scholarships to exceptionally talented students from outside Europe to pursue eligible Master’s Programmes offered at the University of Amsterdam.

Host Institution(s): The host University for this scholarship is the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:

The AES is a full scholarship of €25,000 (covering tuition and living expenses) for one academic year with the possibility of extension for a second year for two-year Master’s programmes.

Eligibility:

Non-EU students from any discipline who graduated in the top 10% of their class may apply. Selection is on the basis of academic excellence, ambition and the relevance of the selected Master’s programme to a student’s future career.

Application instructions:

Applications are made through the Admissions Offices of the Graduate Schools. You can find the specific eligibility requirements, selection criteria and application instructions on the Graduate School websites. Deadlines for the AES differ per Graduate School but are either 15 January 2020 or 1 February 2020 (this is earlier than the application deadline for most of the Master’s programmes).
